Verify

Legal · Terms

The rules, in plain words.

These terms apply when you or your organisation use Verify. By creating an account you agree to them.

01

The service

Verify sends one-time verification codes to phone numbers you give us, through WhatsApp from your own WhatsApp Business number, with optional SMS fallback, in Arabic or English. It then checks the code the person types. We provide an API, a dashboard and documentation.

02

Your account

Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your password and two-factor device safe.

Keep API keys on your server only, never in an app or a browser. Revoke a key at once if you think it has leaked.

You are responsible for everything done under your organisation, including by the team members you invite.

03

Your WhatsApp account

Codes are sent from a WhatsApp Business account that you own and connect. You must follow Meta’s terms and policies. Meta bills you directly for WhatsApp messages; those charges are separate from your Verify plan.

04

Acceptable use

Send codes only to people who asked for one, for example while signing up or signing in to your app.

Do not use Verify for spam, marketing, unsolicited messages, fraud, phishing, impersonation, artificially inflated traffic (such as SMS pumping), or anything unlawful.

Do not try to get around quotas, rate limits or security controls, or to reach another organisation’s data.

05

Plans and quotas

Verify has four plans: Trial, Starter, Growth and Enterprise. Each plan includes a number of live verifications per calendar month and a sending rate limit. The current numbers are shown in your dashboard and on our website.

Test-mode verifications do not count. When you reach your monthly quota, new live codes are refused until the next month or until you move to a larger plan.

Paid plans are billed [billing period and terms]. Fees are not refundable except where the law requires.

06

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or limit your account, without notice if needed, if you break these terms, if your use puts others at risk, if payment fails, or if Meta or an SMS provider asks us to stop.

You may close your account at any time. When an account is closed, we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy.

07

Your data

Your data stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You choose how long verification records are kept.

08

Availability and changes

We work to keep Verify available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. WhatsApp and SMS delivery depend on Meta, carriers and other parties we do not control. We may improve or change features; we will give notice before removing something you rely on.

09

Disclaimers

Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

10

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to [liability cap, for example the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim]. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [venue], unless the law where you live says otherwise.

12

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account owners by email before it takes effect. Using Verify after that means you accept the new terms.
